CHRONICLE / Eight countries and some 3,600 km later, Sherbrooke resident David Beauchesne is back home after a five-month cycling trip. Beyond the statistics, the teacher on sabbatical returns with thousands of images in his head, mixing the splendors and miseries of the countries he crisscrossed, starting in San José, Costa Rica, passing through Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and ending in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where he finished his crossing.
